twiggy
I may not yet be a Knit Master, but I am at least knitting something. Nothing fancy. It's a scarf, OK? A fat, straight, no-pattern scarf. But I used that kind of yarn that's multicolor, so that it looks kind of special. I'm special!
We took Cooper out for her first official walk today, to celebrate the completion of her full round of immunizations. We took her to this gated courtyard across the street from our apartment, so that she got to do two of her favorite things ever: run around like a maniac, and gnaw on twigs. The Coop loves twigs, for some reason. She likes to chew them apart into mulch, and then run out onto the balcony to get more twigs from our planters. There are mornings that I've woken up to find her in the middle of the floor, surrounded by splinters of wood, chewing happily away. This dog is the reason why the handbroom and I have become friends.
The new problem is that Cooper has somehow gotten it into her mind that my knitting needles are also twigs.
